Fancy the joys of camping without the faff of pitching your own tent? Our bell tents are ready and waiting for you, tucked away in their own quiet corner of the site with views out towards the Howgills. Each one is spacious enough to stretch out in, with plenty of room for the whole family or a group of friends, and that lovely canvas glow that makes bell tents such a cosy way to sleep under canvas.
Bell tents have been used for generations precisely because they strike that balance between real camping and real comfort. They’re roomy, sturdy in all weathers, and give you that proper connection to the outdoors while still feeling like a snug little home for the night. Ours are already up and ready when you arrive, so all you need to bring is yourself and a sense of adventure. Guests staying in the bell tents have access to the same shared campsite facilities and shower shed as the rest of the site, so you’ve got everything you need close by.
Our tent pitches are spacious grass pitches in natural field settings. Suitable for tents of all sizes with access to shared campsite facilities. The site includes a mix of open and quieter areas, and pitches are allocated on arrival depending on group sizes and ground conditions. If you would prefer to arrive and have your tent already prepared then our pre-pitched bell tents are perfect for you. Located within an exclusive area of the campsite. Each tent is set up ready for arrival and provides a comfortable glamping option in a natural setting. Guests have access to shared campsite facilities and designated shower shed included.
Our Campervan pitches are hardstanding grass areas suitable for vans and heavier setups. Designed for campervans and self-contained vehicles with easy access and space to park comfortably.

- Compost Toilets - Free and available across the site.
- Pet-Friendly - Welcoming environment for well-behaved pets (please enquire about our policies).
- Campfire Areas - Designated areas for enjoying cozy campfires under the stars.
- Yoga Studio - Brand-new studio on site, which also has a bathroom, mainly for yoga classes and workshops.
Dog Friendly
We understand that your furry friends are as much part of the family as anyone, which is why we are more than happy for you to bring them along with you when you stay at Wildscapes.
We allow one dog free of charge and every dog after is £5 per dog per night.
Unfortunately we are not able to accept more than 4 dogs per booking/group.
